The question: Which AI model is best for generating videos?
Which AI video model to use, and what each clip costs

In this article
For most clips, Kling 3.0: fluid motion, its own sound and 1080p, at 24 credits for a 5-second clip (€1.20). For bodies in motion (sport, dance), Seedance 2.5; for someone talking, or to edit the video by talking to it, Google Omni; to animate a photo of yours with camera moves, Higgsfield DoP; and for quick tests, Kling 3.0 Turbo. In Aura Studio they all run on the same credits. Prices as of 17 October 2026.
With video, choosing wrong is expensive: a clip you cannot use costs the same as one you can.

How to choose
Is someone talking to camera? Google Omni generates the video with the voice inside and follows the script literally; it also edits a video when you tell it what to change. For someone talking with tightly synced lips, HappyHorse 1.1.
Is there hard physical motion? People running, dancing, fighting: Seedance 2.5. For real physics and director-style camera work, Seedance 2.0, which costs more.
Does text have to show on screen? Kling keeps letters that are already in the image better; Seedance tends to warp them. If it is a video of headlines over photos, do not animate each photo: build it in the video editor with a slow zoom on each one and the text on top. It is cheaper and the text stays perfect.
Do you want a specific photo to move? Higgsfield DoP animates your image with named camera moves —a 360-degree orbit, a dolly, a zoom— without you writing a prompt. With your photo as the first frame, the scene is yours.
Is it for social, with pace? PixVerse V6. Need a long clip? Wan 3.0 goes up to 30 seconds. 2K picture? MiniMax H3. True 4K? Kling 3.0 4K, at 116 credits per clip.
If you are not sure, leave it on Automatic: Aura uses Kling 3.0, and Google Omni when the video talks.
What changes the price
- Resolution. The same model can cost more than twice as much at 1080p as at 720p. In the table, each price is for the resolution that model runs at in Aura Studio.
- Length. You pay for the clip that comes out, not the one you asked for: if a model does not do 5 seconds, you pay for what it gives.
- Failures. If the model fails, the credits are refunded.
When a clean clip comes back flagged as sensitive
Sometimes a perfectly ordinary video —a marriage proposal, a summer dress— comes back rejected as "sensitive content". The detector usually fires on the input image, not on the text. Rewriting the prompt rarely fixes it; switching model does. Kling and Seedance do not look the same way.
Your own video, another face and another voice
If what you need is a video of you with another character or another voice, there is no need to generate it from scratch: in Avatars you upload your recording, the face is swapped while keeping your gestures, and the voice is changed separately. What you say and when you say it stays yours.
